Petzl Neox
Optimised for both gym and crag lead climbing, the Neox cam-assisted belay device from Petzl features advanced cam-assisted blocking technology.
This has been achieved via an integrated wheel that you load your rope around letting it slide through with minimal friction that allows you to smoothly and quickly pay out slack to the climber when required. The rope is easily installed to the device thanks to diagrams engraved on the belay device itself.
The cam-assisted blocking activities when the climber falls or weights the system, the rope tightens, the wheel stops spinning, and the cam pivots to pinch and block the rope for a secure catch. Its ergonomic handle provides comfortable descent control, allowing you to easily unblock the rope and lower someone. It can be used with single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm.
