Edelrid HMPE Cord Sling 6mm x 30cm
The Edelrid HMPE Cord Sling 6mm x 30cm is a super strong climbing sling made from synthetic fibers.
Despite looking a little retro, these sewn cord slings from Edelrid offer something different from the usual dyneema webbing climbing sling. For a start, they are very strong (rated to 22kN) and tightly braided polyester sheath makes them much more abrasion resistant than dyneema. They are also far stiffer than dyneema webbing, making them great for poking through threads – particularly one-handed whilst on the lead! The sheath also generates a great claiming force making the 30cm length in particular ideal for prusik loops – A great addition to your climbing rack!
