Edelrid Switch
The Edelrid Switch is a single self-belaying lanyard that is most suited to sport climbing. Made out of Edelrid’s leading sport climbing dynamic rope (SWIFT 48 Pro Dry 8,9 mm) that is light and compact. The big loop allows for easy girth hitch attachment to your harness. A carabiner connects to the belay station or anchor point through the rope eye.
Please Note: Although the Switch Lanyard is made from dynamic rope and will absorb some of the force from a fall, it is still designed for use below an anchor point. These lanyards must only be used when the potential fall factor is less than 1. Not suitable for Via Ferrata.
