Metolius Element
The Metolius Element is a compact and pear-shaped locking carabiner, ideal for use when belaying or for everyday crag and alpine climbing use.
With the pear shape accommodating most belay devices as well as a Munter hitch, the Metolius Element also features a large gate opening that eases clipping. The asymmetric shape also helps ensure proper loading along the strongest part of the biner. Strong and durable this is a workhorse belay or abseil carabiner!
