The Petzl Sm’D Twist Lock is a compact and versatile D-shaped screwgate carabiner for multiple uses such as belay systems, use with pulleys and lanyards.
The I-Beam structure of this premium climbing biner boosts both strength and durability while reducing weight to a minimum. A keylock gate reduces the chance of rope snag and a sleek but practical size allows for single-handed operation. The twist-lock mechanism is perfect for use when quick opening is key (e.g. at the end of a lanyard) and when connecting a GRIGRI to the harness.
